What is KateSongs?
KateSongs is the body of choral works from the pen of eminent master voice teacher and choral expert, Kate Sadler.  Kate's many works appeal to a range of choirs, frequently featuring optional baritone parts for user friendly music in both the high school and community choir setting. Central is strong melody and lyrical poetry. Her songs range from uplifting anthems and joyful expressions of life and the power of music within it and by contrast, there are simple, but effective layered chants and songs with an unusual twist which move the audience to rapt attention.  Above all, KateSongs are singable. She never writes a melody or harmony that she doesn't' love to sing herself. She prides her songs with having a unique and accessible Australian Voice, that expresses the vibrancy and honesty of the Australian spirit.
